It was actually pretty simple. Just started with smears of color and then stippled in some lighter and darker shakes. A little tedious, but not too difficult.

Uh oh!
What I meant to say was that it's a very difficult technique that can only be achieved by tying a live goose to each of your hands. Just getting the geese to stay tied is process that takes years to master.

I'd say the first one probably. I like the second one, but it looks a bit more like a nighttime gala or award ceremony. The first one looks more professional.
