It's that blog that Van Douchebag touted as the new allmighty internet prophet... remember having a huge fight over it. I think it closed because writer couldn't cope with all the flamers he eventually got... surprise surprise.

The medallion thing wasn't some hypothetical invented for the sake of argument, by the way. For the record, I don't really have a power to ban anyone from a particular thread. I can make your computer break with my mind though.

Thing is, if example of that other comic teaches us anything, it's that the difference between tainting someone for fun and doing something rather, hm, sinister is a slippery slope, thanks to group mentality - most of people won't cross the line, but once in a while someone less responsible, under the impression that everyone else supports him, does go too far. Real-life stalking, physical violence or even hacking into someone's mail account is not something that most of people will support once they step outside the group mentality.
Of course there's another side, which is that just paying attention to msp feeds his ego. The paranoiac he is, he's now probably convinced that there is a vast conspiracy against him on CG, and will probably attribute his future failures to it.

On the other side, of course, forum hasn't been this active in years.

There's no doubt that Chris-chan's trolls encompass some fucked up little shits. I'd argue that the line between mocking some guy's delusions on a forum and blackmailing him to cause himself physical harm is pretty well delineated, though.

My position regarding MSP has remained the same throughout the course of this thread. I taunted him while he was kicking up shit here, but I have no intention to make contact with him outside of this forum, and all I've done since he was banned was point to stuff he's released into the public sphere.

Still can't figure out which of the three characters in the comic is supposed to be me. Now, you'd think I'd be in the middle, or the one on the end who doesn't have boobs, but taking his relative lack of illustrative kung-fu into account, maybe that one is me. Or maybe he's making a crack about how he thinks I'm not very masculine, and the one with boobs is me, and one of the guys is meant to be our female co-host, thus creating a double whammy of meta-subtext.
