Between CG, TWCL, and the various other places he's acted an ass, that's quite a few folks who could go around to where he goes and try to get him shut down.

Podcast on trolls has been posted. Here's the link.

I listened to the podcast last night, while avoiding homework and working on my site instead. Not bad stuff. A telling line to this situation comes early.

Occasionally, they have no idea what they're doing... I think that, a lot of times, what people identify as trolls really are just people with absolutely zero social skills whatsoever, who legitimately don't understand why everyone hates them.

I just get the feeling that this guy legitimately believes every single statement he makes. Anyone remember when that Electric Retard kid was stinking up the place a few years back? He made similar claims to greatness, but something about his demeanor told us all that he was straight trollin'. Meanwhile MSP strikes me as lacking the cleverness or self-awareness to pull something like this off-- certainly not to the extent that he has, anyway. Either that, or he is some sort of Hyper Atomic Zen Cloud Master Troll from Beyond Time, which is giving the guy way too much credit, despite the fact that he's managed to whip up enough dust around here to drag in input from folks from two separate forums, inspire a podcast, and cause people to make threats of legal action and/or blackballing, all while keeping a straight face and not tipping his hand. If he were a troll, and not just a nutjob, he'd be destined for greatness, because genius like that doesn't stay hidden.

But he's not a genius. Read his comics. Not a hint of humor or wit to be found. It's just barely-comprehensible ranting, which he thinks passes for "jokes". What we have here, folks, is a wingnut who thinks he's the true king of all he surveys.

Clearly this is actually a cry for help. He is in need of intensive psychiatric and psychological help to resolve the laundry list of mental and emotional defects he clearly suffers from. I feel bad for this guy, I really do. I pity him as one can only pity an individual who is so wretched that they cannot see their own suffering and misery.

But then again I haven't been stalked with psychotic PMs or harassing emails.

Hit him with legal repercussions, blacklist him off SmackJeeves, and break him. Boy needs a timeout and a reminder of the definition of the word humility.

Before, the whole shunning thing sounded silly, but that was before I knew he was doing this crap. If he just left it alone after that initial livejournal post, I could see just letting this whole thing go. But this, him spreading these lies is actually damaging to Comic Genesis's reputation and could legally be considered libel. MSP, I know you are still reading this thread, so I'll let you know right now what that means:

You cannot make claims like this in a public forum(and I mean forum as in not a message board, but anywhere readable on the internet) and expect no repercussions. Also, I recommend anyone who is currently having legal issues with MSP to actually sue him, right now. A few years back when I was dealing with a troll, I actually did hire a lawyer and started legal proceedings. Midway through, the troll emailed me and apologized and promised to never contact me again.

EDIT: here we go. Making an unfounded Claim of Debt against a business is actually indeed libel! So, MSP claiming CG owes him money is indeed libel, and any parent companies can indeed sue him for this slander.

Actually he just enjoys arguing and confrontation. Misdirection and lying is his M.O. He'd say something in a post and 10 minutes later claims he never posted it..... that someone stole his password and altered the post. Kinda like when he said he couldn't do a prt scr on Vista earlier in this thread. Everyone else is wrong and he is always right. Ban him like we did on the Zappa forum. We actually had a poll thread devoted to get him banned and it worked.
