Well, Hi again.

This is like the third time I return to Comic Genesis, and I do feel a bit ashamed that I haven't been able to keep my comics in schedule due to a lot of RL stuff. I was going to wait until I had my site running again, but the new changes made it so that now, I can say "Hi" first, and worry about site fixing later.

And well, that's all for now. I still have my shyness problem, the one that makes me doubt to hit send everytime I write something but hey, we're working on that.

Well hello there.

I've been on and off CG since about 2003. I still have trouble remembering it's no longer Keenspace. I haven't been active for several years, and I've completely forgotten my old login(s?), which were probably tied to email accounts I no longer have.

So, hello anew. It's great to come back after several years' absence and see that people like McDuffies and Yeahduff are still around.

Hello, comic genesisians!
I just found this thread now, I've been lurking around the forum for a while, though.
I'm kind of a noob in this field, but recently I've started working on a webcomic, and am mostly here to leach off your expertise and kindness!
Yay for friendly brain parasites?

We started in Ljubljana, Slovenia, staying at Lake Bled for 3 nights, visited Croatia (Opatija, Zadar, Sibenik, Split, Dubrovnik), with a quick side trips to Venice, Italy, Krka National Park, and Montenegro and ended up in Zagreb before coming home. In all we were only away from home for about 2 weeks, so didn't really see enough but at least got a "thumbnail sketch" of the area.

Of all the places we visited, Lake Bled seemed the most enchanting.

Zagreb (with its warnings of possibly unexploded land mines and unsmiling, very correct waiters who seemed afraid to even joke with the guests) seemed the most foreboding.

Two weeks wasn't really long enough to get to know any place, much less an entire area but it at least gave us somewhat of an idea of the high spots. The picture of Lake Bled is one of the first I took.

Yeah, it's said that Bled is one of the nicest places in region. Haven't been there myself, turned out to be a different country with mandatory visa before I got a taste for traveling around. Dubrovnik's pretty great tho, and when you think of it's history... Montenegro is blah, long time since they had their last spring cleaning. Unexploded mines still in Zagreb area? I'm leaning to think that it's a gimmick.

It may have been but the area looked depressing enough to be in a war zone and there were signs, both large and small, all over the place. The largest were like roadside billboards. I have at least one picture of one somewhere.

Hello. Thank you for this introduction thread. I have never posted a comic online before, but recently I've been looking for outlets to do so. I am new to the entire process and came here to learn from the experienced and helpful. Soon, I will put up the comic series I am working on. I found out about this website from a dummies book on Manga Studio! I believe the writer's name was Doug Hills.

The comic I'm working on has a mix of fantasy/sci-fi elements with metaphysical aspects accompanying the storyline.

Hi! My name is Will and I'm a college student in Albuquerque. Gag-a-day and comedy webcomics are starting to become a fun side hobby of mine; I love reading them and writing my own. I don't take my art that seriously, but I feel that drawing simple cartoons is just a great mental exercise in my daily balance. My current comic has been going strong for over a hundred strips, but I'm thinking of ending it soon after it hits the one-year anniversary so I can get started on my next attempt. In the meantime I'm still going to be plugging my current comic to maintain the small fanbase, and looking for criticism and help that I can apply to my new concept. If you've got anything to contribute, I'd be very grateful. Thanks, amigos!

P.S. I really like what you have going on here at this site.

Hi all. Name's Matt and I'm in the process of getting my comic up at the moment. I actually had one up several years ago, back in the days of Keenspace. Technically, it's still up, but is so horrible that I won't bother linking or even mentioning the name. But yeah...hopefully the new stuff'll be a little better! Looking forward to it!
