I remember once in my old house, I had new neighbors across the street who apparently didn't have much of a living room because they decided to set up their couch and stereo in the garage, open the garage door and crank the music. I was all ready to yell at them to turn it down until I realized they were blasting Queen. I was then more tempted to yell at them to turn it up. Every once in a while dumbass people have good taste in music.

But these are the kind of people who honestly and truly believe they are "quiet" and "shy" and would become enraged if we dared to ask them to be any quieter. If we had longer than five weeks left living with them, I'd probably care more in terms of trying to do something. But as it stands I'll just sit here and whine about it

Oh, my guys played techno so loud and with the base turned so high it made my furniture dance. They'd do it at 7 in the morning too. Lied through their teeth when I asked them (nicely) to refrain from that behavior, but they've stopped since then.

What I suppose I'm saying is even dumbasses sometimes see reason.

those dumbasses, nothing you can do about those types unless you're prepared for a war attrition. it's sad but some people have no concept of others or they think so highly of themselves that they can't see anything wrong with their own behavior. part of life is tolerating the bad so you're still around to enjoy the good

use to have these people downstairs who thought thier flat was a club and they were a dj. every once in a while I'd hear a song I like but mosly it was annoying. course I figured at that point I could crank my amp and no one would mind. and it tended to have them turn off their music.
