Webcomic creators and other people actively involved in webcomics can nominate up to three webcomics in each of the following twelve categories. We tried to keep the number of different categories low so that only the best comics have the chance of winning an award.
Best Comic
Best Writing
Best Colour Art
Best Black and White Art
Best Non-Traditional Art
Best New Comic
Most Improved Comic
The Innovation Award
Best Gag-a-day
Best Long Form
Best Lead Character
Best Supporting Character
Once the nominations are collected the five most popular suggestions will be handed to a panel of judges whose job it is to decide which one deserves to win. But since only webcomic creators and other people involved in webcomics can nominate comics, every nomination is really important as well. So if you think that some of your personal favorites deserve an award, you should visit our site and cast your vote. (You cannot nominate your own comic.)
In case some of you missed this thread when I posted it some weeks ago:
The nomination phase of The Webcomic List Awards 2009 will end next Sunday. So if you are a webcomic creator or otherwise involved in the webcomic scene, you should not forget to nominate your favorite comics in the various categories.
