I might give in and buy a cellphone.

I have promised myself that I will not allow this number to be written down anywhere at work - because goddamn tiny lady will be calling me for stupid shit and then get double pissy that I refuse to answer her calls. If it weren't for this person, I wouldn't have any problem with sticking to this job for most of another year. She makes everyone INSANE.

So yeah. I've been thinking about rebooting my comic. I don't remember there being nearly so much work the last time i did this though...

...of course that could be because this time I'm doing that whole "planning" thing. Odd how much time and effort that takes, but hopefully it'll mean I can avoid the whole "getting fed up with it and not having any idea where to go next" thing. :D

CG has decided to do the "I'm going to log you out every time you try to post because you're using satellite internet out of Iraq" thing again. So it's been almost impossible to post on the forums.

I am so goddam fucking pissed off that anything above rambling nonsensical yelling can't convey the emotions I'm feeling. One fucker, two fucker, red fucker, blue fucker. Black fucker, blue fucker, old fucker, new fucker. This one has a little star. This one has a little car. Say! What a lot of GODDAM MOTHER FUCKERS THERE ARE.

My condo has been invaded by these strange little bugs. At first my mom thought they were cockroaches so I was freaking out and going on a cleaning binge, but after catching one in a jar and googling I ID'd it as some Ceder bug that's totally harmless.

They're actually kinda cute and I feel bad killing them, but I don't want bugs in my house. (The internet said not to squish them because they'll smell but it seems my spray bottle of diluted alcohol kills them.)

Oh and I got a job interview but they turned out to be a scam company so I didn't go.

Still, this second half of the week is doing much better than the first did. (knock on wood)

swarms of anything, no matter how cute, is a bit unsettling. Once dealt with a swarm of ladybugs, got creepy after a while.

Ladybugs are just a bit pretties bugs. Turn it on it's back and it's as icky as any other.

So I went to the local SnM shoppe with a "vegan" friend, today. I got this amazing rubber hand whip. My friend got... Leather vampire gloves.

This is someone who told me earlier about how pissed she was about some lab testing where they were growing ears on the backs of mice. Kettle...black.

So, yeah. I've had a crazy week... but the craziness of the week is nothing compared to the excitement of my weekend at PAX.

I got to play the new Legend of Zelda DS demo! And I saw the Penny Arcade guys and Jonathan Coulton and the RvB guys and Wil Wheaton, and I bought a lot of t-shirts I don't need.

Gooooood times.

And I managed to get away without the Swine Flu!

I like ladybugs but I don't think I'd like them as much inside the house.

Oh and today the Library says I have a CD due but I'm pretty sure I took it back last week. Uh oh...

lost my phone today, first time I lost a cellphone and I'd only had it a few weeks. its a g1 so I changed my google password supposedly locking the phone, deleted credit card info and had my account suspended.

but still the people at tmobile did not want to help in blacklisting the phone. sucks though cause now money situation is going to be obscenely tight. I bidded on a new phone on ebay hopefully but I dunno I feel completely out of sorts. guess I'll be cutting back on going out and eating for a little while.

I suspect these are probably those orange ladybugs, though? the Asian ones that were introduced some years ago and really take over? I know we get swarms of them in the fall. They're pushing out the actual native ladybugs, they bite, they smell bad, and they get everywhere.

at least 50% of the kids in my chemistry lab are complete and utter morons. I despair. Not for the future or anything, just kind of generalized despair at the thought of having to teach them all semester.
