omg what the fuck? I have a friend who thinks that Chris Brown beating up Rihanna and leaving her on the side of the road in the middle of the night is not a big deal? Why? Because he didn't beat her to an inch of her life...like what the fuck? OMG that's not the worst of it. I said that Chris Brown shouldn't get a pass for being an abuser just because he's famous and young and "Run It" is still my jam. That's just stupid and honestly makes me sick. My friend thinks that "it's not that serious."

What the fuck is wrong with women? It's like some women out there want assholes. Its ridiculous. Here are all these nice men who wouldn't beat you up, wouldn't talk down to you, won't cheat or lie, and make you feel special, and there are so many girls who just write them off because they're 5'7, don't have nice abs or arms, don't make over 50k a year and read comics or some shit. God forbid that men judge girls on looks alone. How shallow right?? but ALL of my friends are disgustingly shallow, writing off at least 3 guys just this weekend alone because he was under 5'9. THERE WAS NO OTHER REASON people.

While I completely agree with your sentiments about girls picking bad boys, this is exactly why I don't read gossip columns. It's a place where people pretend to know celebrities based on just a few paragraphs of second-hand story, event presented in a cliffnotes version. Not to mention you've never had a chance to talk to actual people, know a bit more about them. For all you know, the actual event could be completely the oposite from what media told. Well for all you know it could be just a publicity stunt.
I also think it's no big deal, but because it's their personal thing and none of my concern. If I had some drama in my life, I wouldn't want people who I've never met in my life discussiong details of that drama on internet and elsewhere.

Anyways, from my experience, the reason why girls prefere bad boys is because girls like self-confidence. Bad boys have it, nice guys who read comics and whatnot don't have it. I knew a dozen of guys who kept complaining how no girl is interested in them, while barely even having tried to approach to one, and even then doing it in such awkward, apologuetic way, that they project zero masculinity. Not to mention bad posture, slouching, I think that more girls are put off by that than by height or lack of body-builder's forearms.

I found that listening to Fallout Boy helps dull the pain. Unfortunately, like former marijuana users who decide crack is better, its now the only thing I listen to. I've got all their records I think, but god help me if I ever develop a tolerance to it.

I got OC sprayed yesterday. Laem may have had to go through this too, but we get sprayed in the face with this stuff that sort of like mace or pepper spray, and then we have to run through an obstacle course punching and kicking people in padded suits. Its fairly painful. I only had to do a level 2 requal since I did level 1 last year, but I wanted to try the level 1 again. There's lot of clips of people doing the course on youtube apparently.

Sounds like a combatives qualification. I've only received level 1 training, and not certification. Then again, you're Navy and have your own vocabulary, so who knows. Also, you may need that training for your job. I've been tear gassed but never OC sprayed.

I did however just finish a convoy to FOB Delta near the Iranian border. Scary is driving through a shitty town at 4AM, seeing people are awake, and they're all just watching you. We've been told that the newest type of attacks are these Russian grenades called EKGs, basically they're EFPs in a grenade you just chuck at a vehicle. Not accurate, but cheap to make and utilize. And they like to use them in crowds or throw from behind walls.

And tonight we go back. Now, I feel like I'm in a warzone.
