Introduction Thread - Welcome to the New and Old
Re: Introduction Thread - Welcome to the New and Old
Hello, I am new and hoping this will help get me into the siteadmin
Re: Introduction Thread - Welcome to the New and Old
yah my siteadmin thing isn't working either until i can post a few times. My comic centers around the adventures of a preteen girl. Kinda calvin and hobbs but different enough from it to not make it seem like a ripoff. it's not. if it was it'd be called Kelvin and Bobbs or something.

Newcomer here and hello!
Re: Introduction Thread - Welcome to the New and Old
Hi, all. Assuming I ever get into the site admin, I'll have a comic up about quirky college drama in outer space. It'll be fun.
Re: Introduction Thread - Welcome to the New and Old
Hi guys, I too am posting here in an attempt to get into siteadmin!
Re: Introduction Thread - Welcome to the New and Old
Ok, my comic is going to be about... a bunch of college kids having some adventures. Also, there will be a shape-shifting alien cracking jokes. Having just completed college myself, I think I'm experienced enough to discuss this topic and, as for the alien, I think I've watched enough sci-fi stuff for that!

Re: Introduction Thread - Welcome to the New and Old
Hey, all!
So, my name is Kate (though I occasionally spell it 'Keight' for fun), and I'm kinna new here. Long-time comic reader, and just a few days ago I submitted my comic for review on ComicGenesis; with luck, I'll be one of the resident artists around here soon.
The comic--which is more graphic novel than comic strip--is called The Adventures of Kanira Baxter, and I think folks'll dig it. I've got 30 pages ready to go with another in the works as we speak.
Not really sure what else to say about myself, so here'z some random trivia: I live in Seattle, I'm an animator by training, I've worked in video games in various capacities, done a few indie flicks as a CG artist as well, I love to rollerblade and I take martial arts, I'm a long time sci-fi fan (Star Wars in particular, though there'z a lot else that I like)...s'about it.
So...hello!
EDIT: By "CG artist", above, I was referring to CGI, to 3D computer animation. Just clarifying. (Stupid abbreviation convergence. Heh.)

Hello everyone! I am an Independently self taught artist, here to showcase my abilities and to share the stories that I carry with me daily in hopes that someone will enjoy and appreciate both artwork and narrative. I hope I can get things up and running cause it is a bit daunting to say the least. All the best to everyone!

Hey all. c:
Just got my comic started a few months ago. Haven't said hello in the forums yet so...hi. : D
I'm also hoping this will help me with my why-can't-I-log-into-siteadmin problem many people have been having.
Not sure what else to say. I'm really not good at being active in forums so don't be surprised if you never see me again.

Hello newbies! How about plugging your new strips while you're at it?
Re: Introduction Thread - Welcome to the New and Old
Bwargh. I am new and trying to figure things out.
I had a comic back in 06 that fizzled because it had a plot. Not exactly the sort of reason one expects a comic to fail, but despite the fun I had writing the story, I couldn't bring myself to draw enough of it in sequence and didn't want to involve an outside artist.
I'm trying again with a plotless, aimless comic about life observations. Also not taking the art as seriously this time.
My comic is called This Is What I Do and uhm, none of the pages seem to be up yet. I'm working on that.
