Best part- getting back to it after a few years away.

(and inking- inking is good...)

worst part- colouring, if only cos i never practice- however, after learning several new techniques for photoshop to keep lines crisp etc, and having invested in a graphics tablet, heres hoping it wont be as bad in future!

The good: Art improving dramatically as time rolls on.
The bad: Drawing. Anything. Manmade.
The worse: Realizing your story sucks.

The weird: Continuous presence of characters in my dreams. Apparently Tony sucks at air hockey. ... and a character that hasn't been introduced yet plays a Victrola while having sex with people.

Wow.
Considering the downright innocence of your comic that is just bizarre.

Hahaha XD It will eventually get a little more raunchy, but yeah, this dream was really out of left field. Though the visual was hilarious.

For me, it's little combinations of everyone else's favorite and least favorite things about the process, to various extents. My troubles with inking stopped when I switched to tech/design pens. I almost never use color, because it distracts from the underground style and content of the comic. Worst part is when I mess up a detail, and I have to correct it by computer. I've never gotten used to that.

Best: creating my own little world and setting it spinning.

Worst: Actually drawing the stupid comic.

Best Part: Drawing hot warrior women duking it out with eldritch monstrosities
Worst Part: Using Flash to ink - it takes FOREVAR

Still definitely worth the effort, I'd say.

Best part is coming up with jokes, bad puns and situations that can reliably make my brother and a handful of others groan.

Worst part is knowing that there aren't too many more beyond that. But, hey, that's okay.
For me, the whole thing is therapy, makes me forget about my students for a while. ;-)

I should have just made my post before I read everybody else's. I'm so unoriginal.

GooseBump City - A comic about life... the life of toys anyway. (We still aren't doing anything new)
Shapes, the Unanimated Series - It's seriously just a square, a triangle, and a circle (It's arrived, but not ready to be shown)
Halloween Cameo Caper 2009 . . . Sign up.
Currently reading: Atavism - Cope wins 'cause he replied first (I can't believe it concluded!)

Worst part: Sitting down at my desk with no ideas and a due strip.

Best part: The reaction from fans.

Best part: laying out the page.
Worst part: Everything that comes after that.

I'm cheerful. I like it all! Drawing thumbnails, doing layout, designing stuff, adding details, even drawing the panel lines. Ooh, and uploading pages is great fun.

But I don't actually have to write, ink or color anything, though...

Best Part: Writing the comic. I love the process of coming up with the characters, the plot and the ideas behind stories, and enjoy writing the scripts a lot.

Worst Part: Drawing the comic. Not because I'm bad at drawing or find it boring, it's just that I'm my worst critic and never believe that any of my stuff is good enough. The amount of time that I've draw an entire page, only to find one part which is wrong with it and then have to start again because that one bit has managed to ruin the entire page for me...

As you can tell, I do a lot more writing than I do drawing :)

That's when you use the oncologist method, you take some scissors and cut out the offending panel so that you can redraw just that panel. Glue on the new pretty panel and scan it in and no one is the wiser!

I just had to do that about five times with one page I had drawn. I had inked the page a million years ago but didn't color it yet, but when I sat down to I was like "Holy shaman Eddie looks like crap in every single panel" so I just redid those panels and left everything else  Hooray for time-cutting measures!

Page came out damn good too.
