FACELIFT!
My comic just got a 3 week long face lift, and I'd love for some feedback. It works best in Mozilla, and IE is ok, too. Chrome and Safari are nono's and I have no idea about Opera. I spent alot of time working on the site, looking for neat gadgets, and working around the lack of php compatibility on CG. Thanks!

Ah, I see what you mean about Chrome (my default).
I haven't seen your site before so I don't have a basis of comparison to the earlier version, but the current color scheme and layout are well done.
The popup menu and spin menu are pretty cool. As a suggestion, some sort of identifying text - like on the popup menu icons (i.e. "blog" "archives") - would also go well with the icons on the spin menu. I can tell what some of the icons are without text (like the wiki), but I wasn't so sure which one was for the home menu.
Anyway, good job. =]

Ah, yeeaa... the mouseover icons. >.< They frustrate me. Actually, it's really just the spinmenu. At first, we couldn't get it to display pictures rather than text. We fixed that, but now we can't figure out how to 1) get it to work in chrome, ie, or safari, and 2) get it to mouseover. We originally wanted it to rollover to a labeled image, but it seems like the array gets dumped on load, which means it make it a real pain in the butt.... I CAN do it like you suggested, though... I think... The code is messed up, we should be able to figure it out eventually. Thanks!

If you want to know what your site looks like on different browsers (and even browsers on different OS's) then you can use browsershots.org.
It'll generate a mess of images that you can download and check out for how your site looks under different browsers. Warning! The default selection is nearly all of them - if you untick most of the options and just concentrate on the bigger ones that you are more likely to have visited, then it won't take anywhere near as long (or leave as many "fake hits" in your stats if you track them).

Holy, crap... That's amazing. Thanks! I was actually wondering if there was something like this out there, but I never knew where to start searching!
::update:: the site SHOULD work for chrome and safari, now. Those browsers just seem less lenient when it comes down to scripting errors... >.<

Re: FACELIFT!
Awesome! And we finally got everything up and running in IE now, too! So everyone can see my site using any browser! Thanks everyone!
Any comments about the design of the site? I've gotten a few comments about certain things.
1) What do you guys think about the spin menu?
2) Do you think the traditional pull-out menu at the top is redundant?
3) Do you think the "T" in the emblem blends in too well?
4) What do you guys think about the layout of the bottom of the site, where the poll, news, and the cbox are? Just fine? Too crowded?
5) Do you think the vote button should be all the way at the bottom of the site?
Thanks!
