I'm over at my parents place, I'm not allowed to 'fix' their computer because it's possessed.

On the other hand i fixed the TV because Shaw updated their 6200's with firmware that makes SD changes go colour funny when switching from HD channels when connected via HDMI. Firmware update to the TV fixed it. Yes I had to update the TV's firmware. Nothing but crap comes from HDCP.

I'm amazed and appalled that HD equipment sucks so much. No wonder there is such slow uptake.

In other news, the L button on my DS Lite has stopped working... I don't know when it stopped working, because I've had the same game in it for a significant amount of time that hasn't required it's use. Maybe I'll just get a DSi whenever it gets over here. Or I can take it to the Nintendo office and see if they can fix it there.

Oh and I updated the CG forums software

Still with the Bump. We both lost our bets on when he'll be here. (Me -21st; Him - 28th). Offical due date is the 7th.

Edit on 12/30/09:

*bleeping bleep bleep*

Stubborn baby. Guess he wants to come in 2009 as it stands now. So much for the tax deduction. :-?

That cute little guy was sitting on the concrete floor of the garage just inside the door, positioned exactly so that if I drove in, I would scrunch him. You can't move the little blighters because if you threaten them, they pretend they're sticks which means no moving. Apart from a little fake swaying-in-the-breeze, that is.

So I parked the car out in the scorching forty-odd degree sun.

If he acts like a stick, wouldn't that make him easier to pick up and move?

Almost got a speeding ticket last night. I lucked out and the officer only gave me 'disregarding a sign', in other words the speed limit sign :P .

If I'd been just a little faster it would have been reckless driving <____< (20 MPH over the posted limit).

So what you really mean is "I had a shirt with cleavage" and he let you off with a warning.

Oh, I can't pick him up. I might break the poor guy. Or the poor guy might chomp me. I have to cahse him on to a piece of cardboard or something and take that outside.

New year's off to a decent start - already updated both Pimpette and Pumbum, waiting on the invoice for the first Shenanigan books, and have storyboards going for comics for all my comics right about now.

Time to work on that job thing I suppose.

I'm officially home from what was perhaps the best vacation I've ever had. I'm a bit sick but it waited till I got home. I love Disney World and will miss it since we wont' be going back for about 3 years ;_;

My husband bought me a $105 Sleeping Beauty watch with Aurora in her blue dress

SO SWEET!!!! :)
