Greetings, Mattman. It seems there's a lot more writers than artists so you've got one up, hey? Art's hard, anyway, so be proud of being an artist. Welcome to ComicGenesis.

Another new guy.
Creator of the webcomic "Ruthborn:Cloud Nine" pending for acceptance.
Avatar's 'Ruthborn'. I write and draw. I'm also an experienced wikipedian but I'll throw in my offer to help spruse up the wiki in another thread. I also noted the changing pictures of the Comic Genesis mascot (CG-tan?). Does each webcomic have to send a version in and if so how do they do it?

There's instructions for submitting a Genchan in the Wiki, since you're so fond of them you'll probably find it eventually. ;) It's not obligatory, just one of those things people can do. I think it's cool. ^_^

Best of luck with your webcomic and welcome to ComicGenesis, Ruthborn! :D

Hey all,
I am back and stuff. For those who don't know me, I had a comic called Waist High going here for awhile http://waisthigh.comicgenesis.com a newspaper style strip i wrote after reading too much Calvin and Hobbes. I'm scripting and hopefully soon drawing a Fantasy minor hero team, something like Runaways but more literary, so like Buffy, but with the magical world more grounded in reality. So fantasy realism with a b-list hero team set in a world without supers but with mythical creatures. I'm thinking of hosting it here so I just wanted to say hi again, good folk here on these boards and I look forward to participating in the community again.

I don't remember you, being new and all too, but hey! Welcome back! That actually sounds like a really cool idea.

Greets, all. I'm new around here, as if you couldn't already guess.

I have a really really deep writing background, but I've slowly been getting the bug to draw again, something I haven't done in more than two decades. And I've recently found that using a mouse and screen instead of pen and paper allows me to make drawings that actually look like something. The art is still primitive, but it's a huge evolutionary step for me.

Glad to be hanging out here with you folks. I'm interested in seeing where this web comic adventure takes me.

Greetings! If you're interested in digital art, definately check out a tablet. Personal experience speaking when I say that after using a mouse to draw for a couple years, your wrist will hurt soooo badly.

Best of luck with your webcomic adventure! Welcome to Comic Genesis!

Hello!

I'm very new to...everything. New to webcomicking, new to this place, new to figuring out how to make pretty looking pages...the lot.

I'm also very rubbish at foruming. I needed to get my post count up to be able to login to edit my wiki page, apparently, and I reckoned it was a good opportunity to force myself to get active and find some actual threads to post in instead of going "lalala test" in that designated thread a few times.

Even though I'm shy, I'm quite friendly and like to yap about things that interest me. That pretty much includes cats and anime/manga. Aaaand, I'd rather go look at other people's stuff than pimp my own comic, so...yeah. I hope I remember to be active after this!

Heya, welcome to ComicGenesis, FavoriteKitten! Oh, don't worry, I was new to webcomicking about 4 months ago too, and making pretty pages too. Not to forumming, but I'm still a lurker first. Looking at other people's stuff and commenting is probably one of the least annoying ways to pimp your own stuff, as some people look back, y'know. ;)

Don't worry, you'll get better. ;)

Hey everyone! I'm sure some of you guys remember me. I'm working on a new comic, so I figured now would be a good time to rejoin the community.

It's a single-panel comic called Turkish Film Club. Hopefully it will live up to its name.

Well, welcome back, Piece of Skunk. New comic? What's your old one, then? I can't say I remember you, I'm sort of in the newbie range...

My old comic was called "Skunk." It was about a demon-fighting college student and his wacky hijinks. I'd link you to it, but you'd get redirected to an expired domain name, which I didn't realize until about four minutes ago.
