Transformes/TMNT Anniversary Celebration

Post by Protoman185 »

Greetings fellow artists and authors. 2009 is almost upon us and with it comes two important anniversaries for two staples of many of our childhoods. That's right, in 2009 both TRANSFORMERS and TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES turn 25 years!

To celebrate this occasion I am trying to organize an event where participating artists showcase their tribute to their favorite childhood franchise! I want to get this out early because I know we all have work we have to do otherwise so here's what I'm thinking.

1. You may choose to honor either franchise, or BOTH! Have fun with it, but only one comic per artist please.
2. How you choose to participate is up to you. You can use your own characters or use characters from the franchise in a spoof if you like. Hey it's your tribute, do what you wish!
3. Please keep it PG-13, no nudity, drugs, ect. We don't want to scar anyone's childhood :P
4. On the decided upon day, participants post their tribute along with a link to other participants pages (if someone can do a dropdown that'd be much appretiated.)

Let me know if you're interested!

No.

They set all the clocks forward ten years in 1993 and didn't tell you.

Sadly, I remember both these coming out, and I remember the days before both these came out. Now I feel old.

Original Shockwave for the win. He used to produce empty energon cubes. That seemed like a useful skill.

Unlike all the remakes of our old favorites, yeah, it was actually really good.
