this'll happen one day with a lot of comics.. potentially even my own.netpoet wrote: Oh, I know there is. I'm not annoyed by it anymore.Logically, once the page views get up there, it'd be STUPID to stay on a free provider when you could actually start to make something on the side from it.

It's a sad truth that the greatest are not realized for their greatness until they are gone. When that day comes, people will say, "Man, CG was the best place ever. It was free. It hosted some really great comics. I wish I had had the same chance everyone on there had."
*tear*
/dramaticism. You get my point though. No one's going to say all the good things that CG offers until it's gone. But, I'd rather have CG here and alive and disrespected than not here and respected. It's not a bad trade-off, says I.

Amen. There's too much coolness on CG for any of us to worry about what some pretentious whiners think.warofwinds wrote:I'd rather have CG here and alive and disrespected than not here and respected. It's not a bad trade-off, says I.
Congrats to everyone who got nominated! It's gonna be real hard choosing between some of you.

What kind of arguement is that? When I was running mcDuffies, it had over 30 pages of refers in google... and it was far from notable.netpoet wrote:If this were notable, there'd be quite a few reliable sources available when Googling its title, instead, it just generates 76 unique hits. - Hahnchen 00:28, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

*checks nominations for DK or Dawn of a New Era* Nothing. Maybe next year... or they will suffer a horrible wrath otherwise, he he he!
Well, a lot of comics from Comic Genesis (or were on CG last year) did get nominations, such as Komiyan's Darken, K-Dawg's Angry D. Monkey, and legostar galactica's Legostar Galactica. To that, I say congratulations, and I hope for a great turnout for winning awards in the CG Community.
