Creator of Scooby Doo dies

Iwao Takamoto, creator of Scooby Doo, passed away at Cedar Sinai yesterday. He's actually a family friend and I got to meet him once. Really nice, had original artwork all over his place. He's apparently been a major influence on the characters from H-B.

Although I can't stand some of the NEWER incarnations of Scooby and the Gang, it's a damn shame to lose someone as influential as that.

My condolences and well wishes to his family.

All good serial murderers kill themselves at the end. He SHOULD be on that list. Ok, not at the top, but at least at the end.

But hey, why is Daphne on that list before Velma?

Aw man, that's unfortunate. I haven't watched the show since I was really young, but still....it was these shows that inspired me to make my own comics.

Maybe, I haven't watched it since I was seven years old, but I still think that the concept was original when I was released.
