And Turkey too... for we plan on monopolizing the turkey industry with our winnings there.

Leave Turkey alone! We're good mates since they gave us a decent old hiding back in 1915...

Anyway...I'll give this a shake while I've got a moment. If I had a little more time I'd put a few more characters in, but they may have to wait till next time.

For now, here's a run through of Casper since the first strip back in mid 2004.

Incidentally, I did much the same for my first anniversary in mid 2005.

I always liked the early Thatguy over the developing one, actually. He looked so innocent and naive in those early ones. Those early images are the reason I got sucked in, to be honest! Good to see them again!

huzzah! I also broke out the drawing pad for the first time in about 5 months last night, drew part of a head and tossed the pad on the floor!

do I smell the stink of a comeback?

Woo.

Image (As a better example for what I'm trying to do nowadays. [And yes, that hair is supposed to look like that. Hooray for lop-sided 80's dos.])

Somewhere around the end of 2004 I got roped into doing an adult-themed fetish comic with someone I know from IRC, which thankfully fell through, and didn't feel all to comfortable having my name attached to, so I tried to develop a different style for it. I say thankfully primarily because I ended up liking the new style better.

Also, hey everybody. I was gone but now I'm back.

It's really amazing how much some peoples style/art has changed during the course of their comic.
It's really cool, sorta like watching a tamagotchi grow. *smiles*
Where as DitLoaC hasn't been around nearly long enough to warrant any kind of "changing stlye" I have been drawing for awhile, and I actually did make a timeline page off of my comic. In case anyone was interested in looking.
http://ditloac.comicgenesis.com/timeline.html
Which covers my drawing style from elementry school to the present day.

Hm... Well in the past 2 years I've evolved in style and characters. Since my comic is a collection of shorts, the difference mainly is how my style evolves I guess. I don't see too much difference though.

I'm noticing a theme that the worse an artist, the larger they make the eyes.

Actually, I think Gort's comment has some merit -- enormous sparkly eyes are kind of a hallmark of crappy manga webcomics. It's like what little talent the artist has is all concentrated in two massive, blinding beams.

You're just saying that because your avatar has no eyes at all. Image

Damn, I knew those glasses were a waste of money! Curse you, Lenscrafters, with your oh-so-tempting two-for-one deals! D:

(...I guess the halloween avatar should come down, but I'm too lazy to draw a new one.)

*edit* Luckily, Cookie has provided. <3

I think the point of taking down a Halloween avatar is to replace it with one which is less creepy.

Not on these forums, it's not.
This is going in my notebook titled "Things I Didn't Know about Surface Dwellers."

That'd be entirely too simple.
