Um... I guess I'll give it a try. If I succeed, I've got 8 weeks of material, if I don't, I'll still have a small buffer.

Doesn't help that I have a date tomorrow.

edit: ...Aaaand, first comic done in less than 40 minutes.

edit2: 35 minutes later, second comic is done.

Some of my friends are taking part in an attempt at the Stripmuseum in Groningen. Thanks to the parent company's mighty press machinery, it's been well-publicised in the Netherlands.

I'll be checking up with them in an hour and a half, when the event starts.

No time today for me.

But good luck to everyone else.

I don't have time. We thought of a possibility of organizing one on our own later.

Argh! I had been planning to try one this time... alas, even if I had remembered, I was busy with family stuff today. Oh well. I did do a 7 day roguelike this year, so that should count for something.

You can do a 24-hour comic whenever you want, doesn't have to be this weekend.

I'm sure you guys could organize a chat event for it.

Well, because of things like sleep and stuff, I'm not going to make 24 comics, but I've got 3 made from scratch so far, which is really good for 10:45 in the morning.

Didn't even realise this was going on this weekend. Hadn't heard a word about it, which is usually a little strange for this event. Usually there's word about all over the shop in regards to these in the lead up period. Maybe I haven't been reading in the right places though.

I couldn't do one anyway. We've got a kids' musical this week...I won't have time to scratch myself until the end of next weekend.

Good luck everyone who gives this a whirl.

It takes me a day to even get the page sketched and inked. I might be able to get one page inked and colored in a day if I had nothing else to do.

So I guess it's a no for me.

The hell? How in the world does the BIG APPLE not have this goin' on? The city that never sleeps my @ss. They stuck it all the way up in Rochester, NY? Nobody wants to go there, trust me. What about SVA, Parsons, Pace, NYU, Midtown comics, the Comic museum so on and so forth? None of these art and comic giants are taking part.
Ever since I heard about it a while back I wanted to do it. If there are NYers around, who are not in Rochester, and ya'll ever wanna do this, I'm totally in. Warning though, the B&W 1pager I have up today took me about 24 hours.

Some of us over at Comic Dish attempted this today, a few of us chatting on Skype while we did it. I failed, miserably, as I predicted. A couple of others are just about to finish up.

It's cool, and I'd do it again, but I think I'd wait till I thought I was actually ready first :)
