Two questions about a domain of my very own

For discussions, announcements, non-technical questions and anything else comics-related or otherwise that doesn't fit in any of the other categories.

so, in doing so, the HTML would have to look for the images under your domain name instead of ____.comicgenesis.com?

Wouldn't /images/picturething01.gif, instead of the entire address be easier?

Bought my domain (teammayhem.net) for $8.88. I'm sure Dawg can afford THAT.
You know, i should work on this.

Who knows?

I hear his comic isn't doing so hot.
Faith is what credulity becomes when it finally achieves escape velocity from the constraints of terrestrial discourse- reasonableness, internal coherence, civility, and candor. Thus, the men who commited the atrocities of September 11 were neither cowards nor lunatics of any sort, but Men of Faith- perfect faith- and this, it must finally be acknowleged, is a terrible thing to be.

I'm interested in doing this, too, and I was wondering if this would eliminate the need to do the Keenspace-to-Comic Genesis change, or if I would still need to do that by the deadline.

Give me a hollar.
Make sure I do it, because I've been slipping. :(
Since the change from Keenspace to Comic Genesis, do the nameservers now have to be ns3.comicgenesis.com and ns4.comicgenesis.com or are they still Keenspace?

I wasn't bumping this thread. I had a legitimate question that I needed an answer to, regarding information in this thread.

It is, bumping the thread, nobody had replied to it since November.

Not to mention that a quick search of the forum returns Help posts still informing users to set their nameservers as .keenspace and the wiki article about it still lists it as such.

You know what? The "quick search" led me to this thread, and rather than start a NEW thread so I could get the most up-to-date answer, I posted it here. Bumping, from what I understand is making a pointless post just to keep a thread active and at the top of the list.

Whatever. I didn't ask a question so I could get in an argument. Have fun arguing with yourself here. I've got better things to do.

Bumping is just replying to any thread which has sunk out of view and bringing it back up to the top. In general you do not reply to old threads because then you get people who quote and reply to posts that are months old and sometimes to people who aren't even around anymore.

But hey, have fun sassing a forum admin when she tells you what you should and should not do on the forum. This thread is locked so you don't dig yourself in any deeper.
