Hand drawn then the inked version scanned in.

The colouring's done with the mouse in photoshop though.

I've been told there's a tablet in Hardley Normal down to about $150 (probably about $100 in Yank money), but I've never seen one, let alone used one, so $150 is a bit much to take a gamble on having it sit on the shelf covered in cobwebs.

Also, I'm a traditionalist in some respects too.

Cheers.

I haven't abandoned traditional media, though -- I really like fountain pens and ink washes. Whoopdie doooo
I just love your new avatar.
I once ate a whole box of friskies on a dare. Don't do that. They really absorb water well, and if you don't drink enough fluid, they jam up your entire GI tract. It hurrrrrt.
But if you do drink enough fluid, don't they soak it all and then expand and make you wanna explode or something? I think my dad had that once happen to him, he ate quite a lot of some kind of cereals, then drunk a lot of water, then complained to the rest of the evening.

Well, it's obvious you need practice with the tablet.

Not to mention real talent at drawing.
Faith is what credulity becomes when it finally achieves escape velocity from the constraints of terrestrial discourse- reasonableness, internal coherence, civility, and candor. Thus, the men who commited the atrocities of September 11 were neither cowards nor lunatics of any sort, but Men of Faith- perfect faith- and this, it must finally be acknowleged, is a terrible thing to be.

I don't know about your definition of "tablet" and "digital", you might have put down more options if you're talking abuot tracing. I'm saying tablet because it's just the most beautiful thing ever, as long as I have it I don't intend to use paper ever again.

Hmmm... I don't think I'm going to miss levels after I get my tablet, my drawings always come up with gray areas in the ink. But I do think I'm gonna need lots, and lots, and lots of practice.

Theres always going to be someone in forums looking for someone to degrade or insult. Obviously being a bully in the real world wasn't working, and it's sad to see what his alternatives are.

Jex, knock it off.

Guys, don't rise to his bait. He's already gotten one warning today and if he, or anyone else for that matter, insists on keeping things up like this, PM a mod or something. They can't read every single thread.

I use my tablet for pretty much everything. I haven't used pencils for anything to do with my comic for a long time.
Bye.

I build my comic, brick by brick. The rest is done with a digital camera and copious use of photoshop. (i say that as if it were not completely obvious)

he's just trying to prove what he said back before he left the first time to be true. It's all an act.

I remember that thread, and since he so accurately predicted what he would become (and at best that's a self-fulfilling prophecy), then he shouldn't have even come back in the first place.

In truth, I don't care what his reasons are for acting the way he is, the point is he's being a walking, talking poke-in-the-eye and my patience has run out.

It's up to him if he wants to be remembered for acting like a jerk, but people aren't going to put up with it and at this point he's either going to leave on his own or get permanently banned.

Denial is not falsification. You can't avoid a fact just because you don't like it.
