Favorite Storylines

Just because there's too much silence, I feel like bringing this up. Going through the archives of the strip, I'm always surprised to see the progression of how I draw.

I'm inherently lazy. I mean, I am really lazy. When I draw, I don't even bother to focus my eyes. How lazy is that? Anyway, on occasion, I do put effort in what I draw and you can clearly tell in which Sandwich World storylines I did.

Subsequently, two of these particular storylines have ended up as my favorites; Boredom, for the quality of the art (even though Roderick, the shirtless guy, has two right feet in the second page...), and Back To Basics, for the combination of art and storytelling.

Some online comic artists occasionally go back to re-draw old strips from back when they really sucked (though I can't seem to be able to name any off the top of my head... David Willis? Hmm, no.) but I like comparing the really old crappy strips with the newer ones.[/i]

All questions of art aside, I liked the mutant onions arc (whose name I am not going archive-diving for). Among the onions just being hilarious of their own right, the struggle between Zay and Phil, and the violence/leadership/civility questions, it was a very well-rounded arc.

Unrelated, Zay's rescue of the flying sandwich in the present Night of the Living Sandwich arc is just beautiful. Zay is a good love/hate target.
