Weird

Is it just me or does the baker seem sorta like previous graphical representations of Tom Martin, with a shave?

'cept this one doesn't have a stylin aussie henchman.
How dare you! I know evil is bad, but come on! Eating kittens is just plain--plain wrong! And no one should do it! EVER!

Optical illusion!

Er... I mean, all of my characters have a part of me somewhere... Some more literally than others. The new baker not so much, though, as representations of myself in the strip are still fairly accurate as to what I look like.

So far, you can see me applying to work at Sandwich World, getting attacked by a demon, and talking to my sandwich... but I haven't yet made any appearances beyond that. But obviously, all my characters are a part of me somehow, whether I want it or not. A few of them are based almost completely on people I know or have met, but since I'm not those actual people, they end up being more me than anyone else.

I try to keep the characters true to how they were originally created or on the characters they were based on. For example, Meaghan, the store manager and author of Eat The Roses and a bunch of other really cool stuff; I only met her at the San Diego ComiCon two years ago, and both she and Damonk were really cool. When I did my Job Application storyline, she (and Chris "Birdy") got the job and was hired. I only met Meaghan for that one week, and I never actually met Chris "Birdy", but I base their personalities on the info they gave me. Everything else, I just guess and make up and hope I don't offend anyone.

In my opinion, the mark of a good writer is one who can distance him/herself from their own personalities and write characters that are totally different from themselves to the point of being unrecognisable. My favorite actors are those who play roles that seem to take them out of their elements, but which they excel at anyway.

So, uh, yeah. That was a long reply.

You just don't want to admit that you jump around your house wrapped in nothing but a toilet paper!

Actually I kinda went off your earlier work with that zebragirl arch where you had you and Rab (kind odd when I word it like that) try to hijack the strip. Then agian, I guess being a toilet paper ninja is more respectable then setting cohorts alight in a blaze.

But anyway everyone knows that you use a chaingun to dispose of nuisances, not ninjutsu.
