I dunno which one of you is doing this, but it appears that someone is going over the outlines of the characters and making the line thicker and darker. Either way, its working, it really makes them look sharper and makes the comic look cleaner.

Joe is just... he's not human, man.

Actually, what he probably does (or at least what I do) is scan and draw the image really huge and then shrink it down to size for the internet. It really smooths everything out and often makes really shitty pictures look much better.

Man that is what everybody does isn't it?
Scan in at 300 dpi then shrink to size. It is really your best bet.
As for making those two terrible bmps you sent me come out looking like the rest of the comic.. I don't know how I did that.

How small is small?
Because I've always done it so that the comic that appears on the internet is bigger than the drawing itself at least.
