Strips worthy of Nomination...

I'm discovering I don't read many Romantic, Superhero/Action, Short Form, or Single Panel comics.

More recommendations, anyone? What's a good "Romance" comic that isn't just about flowers and pink candy hearts? I'm considering nominating Alexandros. But I'd love to discover some new favourites through this.

Hi! I am new here. I would like to point out an obviously obscure comedic cartoon that I discovered through a forum at retailworker.com. It is called, The FLOOR. I like it so much I have found myself wandering through the archives again. I know for a fact others have found this out-of-the-way strip charming as well as Mr. Lindgren (The artist) has not forbid anyone to go and look at his web traffic info. I have see people enticed to read the whole thing on more than one occassion... either that or they just like looking at the same cartoon 50 times...

I think The FLOOR should be a consideration for one of your awards!

It's the sort of comic that can pretty much fill in many of the blank spots on my ballot--smart use of layout (I just love all of this), smart use of characters, smart use of smarts.

It's one I discovered when I felt I just couldn't fit reading yet another comic into the rotation, but every time I see a banner or other image from it, it pulls me right to it.
