Not a dumb question at all.<P>Here is the URL of last year's award ceremony. Many of the ideas and goals of the awards are available there.

Another thing you can do is find things that your comic may have as a nitch. In my comic's case Roleplayers... and search for awards programs via that.

The <a href=http://www.spxpo.com/ignatzwinner01.htm>Ignatz Awards</a> include a 'Best Online' category.<P>I think what Zortic-guy was referring to (<i>mutterings</i>) is <a href=http://www.comicon.com/ubb/Forum8/HTML/000356.html>this discussion</a> (warning - set aside an hour or so), in which they decided to do awards the following way:
-anyone can nominate
-1 guy decides all the judges
-the judges can reject any nomination out of hand, whittling down to whatever finalists they decide
-the judges pick the winner.<P>I'm bummed that the Ignatz' got cancelled this year, because I was pulling for <a href=http://www.ape-law.com/jeremy>Jeremy</a>, although "When I Am King" would have been cool too, or really any of the finalists.<P><font size=0>Is "Ignatz'" an acceptable plural form of "Ignatz"?</font><P>------------------
