Voting procedure?

Post by Mravac Kid »

I am very sorry for starting a thread for this, but I've been trying to find the info and I'm unable to do so.

I signed up for the WCCA (unfortunately too late for the nomination round), and as the voting round has started I of course want to vote. But I can't find the information on how to do it, other than to register... I already registered for the nominations, so do I need to re-register for voting? That doesn't sound efficient...

Please clarify to us n00bs exactly what we're supposed to do.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I hear we'll get an email with login information when the ballots go up. Don't stress, we've got like two weeks to vote.

(I only registered to vote myself like two days ago. Class of 07 unite!)

I don't get it, the voting procedure as it's described on the main page hasn't changed. Are we supposed to send in the same form as before, only the three names for each category have to be among the finalists? Or what.

Voting Procedure

Here's what we're hoping:

Sometime this weekend, we'll be sending out everyone's passwords as well as the link to the voting site. Once you log in there, though, you'll have to vote the whole ballot at once--you can't do half, then come back and do the rest.

After you've clicked your choice in each category and submitted your ballot, it'll give you a list of the comics you voted for just to be sure--'cause once you tell it that list is OK, you can't go back.

This is the best way, we figure, to keep the votes competely private: no one'll know but you who you voted for...

AHHHHN! Thanks for playing. I've recieved no instructions, and yes, I've registered and received confirmation, both this year and last year.

So, how are the instructions coming along?

I've sent a request in to our Web Guy, so you should--hopefully!--get your log in info resent to you shortly.

I haven't received any instructions, either. Just the registration confirmation.
