you could use it to make stills for a live comic... OR OR OR we could watch you in the REAL lab!
or you can put it on your drawing table so we can WATCH you update (and maybe finish a certain canadian STORY LINE coug cough)
OOO OOO...or you can put it inside the refrigerator so we can see the man who turns on and off the light

Hey, there are two of you right? Why not get a whole lot of masks (or picutres on paper with eye and mouth holes) and move the cam back and forth between you. No rehersal or anything like that. Random joy!

I dig the ADS Cam, and the LabCam ideas. It'd be super fun to answer ADS questions in realtime, making up answers as I go along, like maybe in a chatroom-type setup? And for the LabCam, you could watch me break things, and damage=hilarity!<P>

I agree with Speaker. You can use the webcam to give us something like "Behind the Scenes: The Making of the Labgoats Comic Strip" sort of thing. *yeesh, wasn't that a corny title or what?* That way, we can see all of the hardwork, at times frustration, and dedication that goes into comic strip creation! *another corny statement* Anyways, time for me to go home from work! Woohoo!! It's Friday and it's payday! Talk to you guys later!

if you try to do it in a chat room you might be dissapointed, cuz a few people post, no one writes, and even less go to a chat room....even if you have a crap load of readers. Damonk told me he hardly ever gets letters, and his forum has like 6 regulars but they post on and off.... so if you did ADS it might be good to have it pre recorded and just accessable whenever! ...
or! you could just film a goat all day!! that's my favorite!

Yeah, why record a goat for a comic called LabGOATS!! It makes no sense :-D (not trying to be insulting, just funny).<P>If you do use it to record all the hard work that goes into making a comic, I want dibs on the camera next to make the Uberfunny equilivent.<P>"Hi, I'm Joe! Pretty much I copy and paste and add text. See, watch (ten seconds later) I hope you enjoyed this educational video and have a new found respect for my work. I also hope you understand why I can't reach my Friday night deadline and my comics end up posted Saturday afternoon. Thank you."

OK, my idea is slightly late, but...<P>why not use your webcam to finally answer the riddle of Schroedenger's cat? Basically, you'd set up the experiment as it is traditionally described, but with one exception: you would also place the webcam in the box, and set it to dump everything it records into a file. Then close the box, and don't let anyone look at[1] the file or the box for several hours.<P>When you decide enough data has been collected[2], open the box, and find out whether or not the cat is dead. Once the experiment is complete, you can open the file, and find out what a cat that is both alive and dead at the same time looks like!<P>Just remember, if you win any awards for solving one of the great paradoxes that have puzzled scientists for years, it was all my idea. <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/wink.gif"> That means I would share in any (Ig)Nobel prizes you might win...<P>[1]or otherwise observe<P>[2]or when your hard drive get full, whichever comes first.<P>--
