There was a Megaman 9, released under the title "Rockman and Forte" on the Super Famicom in Japan only, in 1998. ^.^

Yeah, I know about Rockman and Forte, but it was never released in the United States, and it's not really Mega Man 9, although the similarities to the previous game are pretty obvious.
By the way, don't pick up the Wonderswan version if you ever find it... it's quite horrible.<P>JR
