Who the hell is Tina?!

So I just read through the archives, to catch up on this wonderful little comic, and I was just wondering if anyone could tell me who Tina was, in regards to this comic. She just seemed to show up during the Alien Abduction storyline, then simply disappeared. I realize she was probably just a character that never got off the ground, but I'm insanely curious, and these things tend to drive me into a rabid frenzy. Any insights would be nice. Thank you.

Tina is a friend of mine in real life and a friend of Bob and Ed's in the comic. By an amazing coincidence, she just happened to be kidnapped by the aliens at the same time that Bob was. She then realized that they were still trapped in the alien mainframe and managed to contact John on the outside to help them escape. I might bring her back. Then again, I'm thinking of retconning the whole alien abduction storyline entirely. It was pretty silly.
