Any thoughts about the new page?
My $0.02
The coloring looks great, as usual!
It looks like Anna has short hair in that picture. Just seemed a bit odd. It's actually a good look for her, though.
One suggestion: it might be a good idea to do something to distinguish the flashbacks from "present" time, like blurring the edges of the panel or some such thing. It's not hard to tell that it's a flashback in this page, but it might help avoid confusion in later comics.
All in all, though, I give it two thumbs up!

Hey, I didn't catch the fact that Anna's hair does look short. Maybe she'll cut it that way sometime in the future.
Well the revised image should be up by the time you read this. I've added some white on the flashback panel with Ranna crying in it, to give it that "dreamy" feel. As for the first one, well I like how it's all bold and orange (and fiery!) so I left it alone. Anna's hair should look long now, I added a little extra highlights where the shadows obscured most of her hair.
Gee, I really should get an editor
------------------
True Magick
A "serious" story involving somewhat dysfunctional young-adult characters in a fantasy realm with the power to rend reality at their whim. Oh, and it's in color, too.

Sorry for delaying the comic for so long. It actually didn't take me more than a day to finish, and if I had time during the week to work on it it would have not been late. Anyways, any thoughts on the new page?
Oh, and since everyone likes my coloring so much, I asked Eunice for some lineart to color. I'll post the results sometime this weekend.
------------------

Looks marvelous as usual. I specially like the colors near the fire. And I like that you are starting to get in more panels per strip... this certainly helps move the story along.

------------------

Well, they both shouldn't cost more than about 5 bucks altogether, although I forgot how much I bought my brush for (I originally used to paint gaming miniatures for Warhammer 40,000 and Battletech.) India ink would probably go for another 5 or so.
In case you don't know, a crowquill is basically a fountain pen. The Hunt 102 has a nib that is very well suited to inking a variety of lines, and it's fine enough to make detail work a snap. Oh, and if you're planning on getting one of your own, make sure the point isn't messed up or anything, and that it is in perfect alignment. Also, get an india ink bottle that's short and easy to dip your pen into (I bought Higgins, not Black Magic but just another generic india ink they make. Carson Fire of Elf Life says that Black Magic is horrible ink, so I guess I'll take his word on that.)
And for your last question, yes, it is pretty hard to use. It takes a bit of practice to ink without messing up your lines, and it takes a lot of concentration. Practice on some junky pencil drawings before you ink on something really good. And if you DO mess up even then, no one says you're not allowed to use white-out
Hope that helps! I don't mind people being nosey at all. More questions, people! I'd love to answer them.

Hey, that was worth the wait! Not that I'm encouraging you to keep posting them late or anything...
Inking looks awesome, as does the coloring. Some little things I especially liked: that glint of light on Giral's... uh... hand-sword-thingy , and Anna's hair in the bottom left panel (I dunno why. It just... looks like hair!) I like that new character, too. He's neat-looking.
The only thing I could possibly complain about is that the sequence of the dialogue was a little hard to follow. But then, I've always found top-to-bottom technique to be a little awkward.
Well, that's all from the peanut gallery. I'm off to bed. Just got done watching a black/white film for class and my eyes are killing me. I ended up wearing sunglasses for the second half.

Cool, glad you all like it! You all made my day
Ugh... 5 hours sitting in the Engineering lab finishing a quarter project... I was sooo tired. But then I had my caffeine fix, and I'm back up again!
Giral's sword-arm thingy is just that, a sword arm, although you really can't see it. What you DO see is something like a shielding carapace he wears on both shoulders, this one with light fixtures on the edges. That's where the glare is coming from. I hope to include a lot more detail in the next comic so all his features are more clearly shown.
