I was thinking of trying to sell some art online. I'm not sure how or where to do this. I'm also not sure how many people would actually want to pay for something drawn by me.
Maybe I'll try ebay. I'm not sure if Keenspot would like me using their auction place.
<a href="http://spacelosers.keenspace.com/images ... onsters I need to do something about that signature in this picture.

I was planning my first published book too, but I just realized that I have no idea how to go about doing that. It also takes money! ACK!

I think I might be able to sell some stuff on the Keenspot auctions, eventually.
But I could use some input to know what people want the most.

Okay, so I can't use the keenspot auctions for a while. Apparently they're not using it for some reason.
I tried ebay, I don't think that will work either. I don't have a credit card.
As for the book... I still have a lot to finish and find a publisher. There is no telling.

Try putting a "Commissions" section on your site and list rates for what you would draw for someone (ie, 1 figure, 2, group shot, etc)...

Hmm... That might be a good idea. Couldn't hurt to try, I guess.
I'm not sure how much to charge, though.

That's a tough call... but you are the only one who can answer it. How long does it take you to do a drawing that you're willing to sell?

Let's try the number.. $15 for a drawing.
If 1 hr.. it's $15/hr.. not bad!
2 hrs. - $7.50/hr.. still ok
3 hrs. - $5/hr you'd make more working at McDonald's.

So you have to try and find the "magic number" where you can charge an amount that would be fair to you, AND would still be interesting for people to invest into it.

But the art I'm thinking of is like.. carnival art, of course... like "Draw my character" or something...

If you're thinking of stuff that you really want to work hard on like Monsters... that would be worth a lot more, of course.
