Frankly, my first experience with condoms was awful as I could barely feel anything with the condom on. Can anybody recommend good brands of condoms that actually let you "feel the action" without compromising safety?

I know there's no "miracle condom", I just want to know the best brand is all. There's a shitload of brands but I don't know if there's any noticeable difference in comfort between brands or types (lubed vs unlubed, spermicide, extra sensitive (for who?), ribbed, etc).

whatever you do, stay the fuck away from French condoms. They were not designed for rough sex. I've had two "incidents" in the past 5 months, compared to one in the preceding 7 years with Canadian condoms. Ironically, the French ones were given to me by anti-AIDS activists..

it all feels pretty much the same to me.

when i was younger condoms didn't bother me any, but i am really starting to hate them. I am really starting to value sodomy with my lady friend over vaginal intercourse just because i don't wear a condom for that.

My best advice to you is get a vasectomy and don't worry about it. thats my plan, as soon as i get the money.

My favorite brand when I use them is Trojan Magnums - snug but not too. If you get a really tight condom they suck.

There's some kind of Trojans that come in a green box, and from what I remember they were better than the others that I had tried. I forget what they're called though.

but one of them exploded during use and we have never trusted them since.

Ive only used Durex never had a problem but I only used them 5+ times till the mutual blood tests came back.

The red-box Durex "Love" and the silver-box Trojans (the thin ones, I think) so far seem better.

I went the vasectomy route, and am currently waiting for the analysis on the first post-op sample to make sure it worked. If so, I've only got a month or two more before not needing condoms.
