I've not posted here in perhaps over two months. I simply lost interest.

Care why?

I used to show up here to get educated. To learn things about alternative lifestyle, political philosophy in foreign countries, and interesting geeky news articles.

But over time, I feel like there was too much drama and bullshit.

I swear, every other post was "rapes also" or "snugglehug" or some worthless comment like that.

So I got bored.

School's almost out, and I'll need some company this summer. What can you do for me, Ghastly's Ghastly Forum?

*sprays on drama repellant and slips into a flame-retardant outfit*

I keep forgetting to check, IRC is much more interesting now a days when its busy

You can try the literotica.com forums. I'd adivse you to avoid The Playground if you dislike fluff though. I spent a couple years there and still check back on occasion.

but moar drama and its all namefags, and only like 6 of them everyone else is/are alt nicks

Welcome back(?) swordsie. The forum seems to have been drama free for a while, tho it has been quieter, probably due to many people having finals soon.

especially when you *could* just compile it yourself

I too have noticed a lack of content. I wonder why? Are we out of topics?

As too the drama, I say you an always ignore the threads with it.

I also got annoyed by the drama. it's gotten to the point where I check new topics, the photo threads and the confession threads. *shrugs*

I haven't really been paying attention lately. Is there some drama that's been going on aside from the usual arguments that arise when discussing politics or philosophy?

This forum is one with fapage and where talking about your sexual practices is not considered odd.

Seemed like about, oh, four months ago or so, maybe more by this point, it turned away from the 'new, random, bizarre thing', to "god and not god, my right vs your wrong" so I stopped checking until just recently as well. Not sure what's missing, maybe it's just the new format, but it just doesn't feel like the ghastly forum of old.

Things like this always have their high and low points. Sure, there's not much interesting discussion going on at the moment, but things will eventually pick up again.

Yeah i really hate the new look.
