eh, I'm to the point I've gotten my nlite almost 100% configured to my liking
and you can disabled the $IPC share, it requires a little registry work though, as well as some gpedits IIRC
you can turn off the netbios helpers as well to disable name based SMB shares, but then you get funcky errors when sharing with even XP SP0...
nicer driver support than 2k as well
but you can always just nlite a nice 2k3 install as well, newer kernal, somewhat faster, scales better
