Eh - I've hosted tons of exchange students.
Chinese (Beijing) = gentle, humble, clever.
Chinese (Hong Kong) = rude, arrogant, metropolitan, bubbly
Italian (Northern) = congenial, love to party, very family-oriented.
French = fun loving, very proud, generous, caring
Japanese (northern/rural) = humble, tired, a little sad, proud of her heritage
Thai (hosted three at different times, not sure of region) =
All three were basically pretty similar in personality, outgoing, fun-loving, active.
Spanish = very similar to French.
Unfortunately, we've rented out our spare room, so we haven't been able to host any students lately. . .
