Here, have some more. This one was made by a different artist. I think the air of mystery about it suits the xenophilia theme really well.

I do apologize for being a topic drifter, but I'm going to suddenly wander off into left field for a bit here. . .

I've actually wasted time ruminating on this particular topic, so I'll try to put it in word form:

"Furry" is an overloaded word.

As a slang term it is poorly defined, and as an internet term it is further mutated by those that hate and those that don't. Just as 4chan is both an internet site, a meme, a person, an imageboard, a discussion board, the gayest bunch of faggotry since gay came to homotown, and the great black hole of retardedness that actively makes any who go near stupider, furry is many things.

First, furry is an actual word and an adjective meaning "covered with fur."

Second, Furry is a type of art also called "anthro" which involves anthropomorphic animals or, more often, animalistic humans. (I will explain my reasoning for this distinction later)

Third, Furry can refer to the erotic subsection of anthropomorphic art. Since it is also undeniable that most folks consider Snoopy and Gargling Snoopy's Lovejuice are two very different kinds of pictures.

Fourth, Furry refers to the subset of people who enjoy the aforementioned erotic art.

Fifth, Furry can refer to the people who role-play, costume up, etc. as animals or anthropomorphic animals for regular and sexual activities. A lot of them tend to smell bad because big bulky non-breathing sex costumes that aren't machine washable lend themselves towards a nasty, nasty funk.

Sixth, Furry involves all of the above plus zoophiles and committers of bestiality, and is usually being used as a slur.

Now "what am I and should I start worrying?" Well I am sure I am repeating what you already know yourself, but you are Honor. Nothing more or less. If you like the idea of erotic role-play such as playing the part of a hot lesbian werewolf seducing a young and nubile human girl then you can do that, but if you just like looking at fappable hot horse-ladies then not only are you *not* a furry by most standards and definitions you are also supposed to do just that. It is not like there is anything those desperate-for-attention artists** will keep from sharing with you because you would not say "yiff" to them.

And for all the negative stereotypes, the "yifftastic furfags" are just more costume-sex people. While I have never understood (from an emotional level) the erotic role-play "thing" I do not see how there is much difference between the bunnysuit and the Hard Gay Leather nor why I should be upset about it. Any of these things may be because I am fucking boring.

And in truth, most furries and xenophiles are not actually zoophiles or freakers. After all Honor, the images you started this page with with were undeniably "mostly human". The basic body structure (aside from being mutatively large was human. Still having hands, a head in a human position*, legs that are longer than hands, a tendency to walk upright instead of on all fours, and knees that would tangle with your elbows if you tried are all very much humanoid anatomical constructs.

So, I might add, are the guro images, though analysis of *why* a porn is enticing is always the more interesting one. For example, when reading about The Cock Of Science I noticed the "Retarded Succubus" porn vid that couldn't sell. I started wondering what kinks such a thing entails and why it might (or in this case might not) be successful.

One can generally assume that pornography is meant to be arousing and since sex involves psychology ("like ninety percent of sex is mental anyway" one strange and particularly undead person once said) certain memes and patterns can be found.

When a hawt-ass demon chick is fuckin' a guy, she is sultry, seductive, and sexually experienced. The "this lover is so amazingly good I have never been fucked like this before and that's amazing" sequence does not change the, "I am an experienced and sexually aggressive woman." undertone of the succubus character.

Meanwhile, over in the other corner of brain-sex, a girl who is retarded, or injured, or otherwise "vulnerable" is pure, untouched, and unknowing in the ways of love that the other character is invariably "teaching" them with. This makes a retarded succubus a pair of things that seem at odds with each other and a niche market at best.

Back on the topic of hot furries, I have noticed a series of running themes with most furry porn. First off, the hot'n'sexy females are often mothering, usually submissive, and though they may be seductive and "aggressive" in obtaining sex, they usually are submissive once they are getting it. In the case of the Honor's Hot Horsie-girls, I note that they are all what she admires (Big, strong, confident, female) and also all fuckable (implied by their nudity). Sounds like the sort of thing Honor goes for right there, from what little I know of her.

And wandering back out of the tentacular dark jungle of my maddened mental meanderings, I think the reason that something exotic, foreign, yet still more human than not*** is evolutionary in nature. You see: fucking your neighbors for too long is dangerous from an evolutionary standpoint. When you do that, your genome stagnates and the rest of the world passes you by. Your homogenous nature and lack of new material means that when the last gazelle you are fast enough to catch dies, the fast gazelles will all run away and you will starve. Further, while it is theoretically possible to have all your recessive genes be advantageous it is more often true that the recessive genes and inbreeding lead to serious health risks and general problems that will prune you from the greater family tree of your species.

Ergo, something that is not like you, yet still like you, is desirable. . .and the exotic or strange yet still fun and fuckably humanoid is hotter than the plain one. But the most important thing to remember within all these rules of attraction is that there's never just ONE thing that's involved in the "that makes me pop a six-foot-boner for charity of ninja proportions". It is always numerous competing rules of attraction and arousal. Goodness knows I find a story of why two people are fuckin', (Even a lame-ass pathetically written Dirk Diggler-grade porn-story) more arousing than just the image of them fuckin'.

*Dogs and cats and even horses have heads that stick (mostly) straight out of the trunk of the body in an "at rest" position. I am no anatomist but I can tell you that most animals have their necks built differently.

**What? They are artists for FSM's sake. . .

***See the first footnote and related materials

****And since I never mentioned it, my guilty pleasure of lust I'd rather not admit to is a hot chick having sex with another hot chick, who happens to have a penis. There ya go, my weakness betrayed.

I'm kind of disappointed with "fucking boring". Yahoo Image Search let me down.

And now: Moar furreh!
more and more

The artist is (Jace) Teh ghey but has room for the ladies in his repertoire of images. He also appears to have dropped off the face of the earth (or, you know, gotten distracted by IRL)

However The ladies who draw such things do exist. Not surprisingly they seem less inclined to advertise their gender and sexual preference as the internet makes 13 year-old boys of us all.

Furry/anthro porn does absolutely nothing for me. If anything it makes me laugh - not in a derisive way, but in wonderment at the glorious rainbow that is the filthy, dirty little human mind :)

I thought the exact same thing when it popped on the scene. I was a bit concerned with the direction things seemed to be taking.

Yeah, when you own two dogs, two cats, a bearded dragon, and (and have had chickens, parrots, gerbils, mice, and geckos) - I find it hard to reconcile any animal smell with "sexy". Maybe that's just me. :)

One of my first jobs out of college was as a t-shirt airbrusher. And one of my co-workers was really good at drawing animal cartoons, but his "kink" was drawing some fairly violent stuff, mouse-n-cat variety. This was back around 1990-ish when the furry scene was just really starting out. I used to go to sci-fi and comic conventions back then, and I told him he should go, because he could draw furry porn for people and make assloads of money. He didn't really understand what I as talking about at first, but after I explained it to him, he was utterly, utterly freaked out about it. And this was really before people started making elaborate costumes or even posting stuff on websites. It was just really kind of a sub-branch of Anime fandom that got together at cons, and traded furry-porn comic books, which were really rare and underground at the time. He should have listened to me, because we were spraying shirts for like $3 an hour back then.

It probably already exists.
