Any particular reason one prefers hentai over just regular porn? Myself, I enjoy the art almost as much as the content. Its too bad the quality goes out the window with a hentai movie.

usually for me it's that in hentai, there's the true invisible camera, the characters don't show that they know they're being 'watched' unles it's the artist's intent, whereas with porn, i've -never- seen anything decently kinky that didn't take serious penalties out of performing for the camera rather than jsut enjoying the activity.

I don't watch porn movies, but I think I recognize something you just said, Kite. I call it the 'cold-eyes effect'. From time to time, I can't help but stumble across pictures of women who are either nude or as close to it as makes no difference. Look into their eyes, and there's almost always this cold, off-puttingly calculating look that says: "How much do I have to take off to get the most money out of this/to get people stupid enough."

For me, hentai images are more about the scene and the setting than just the female. Most porn magazines I've seen (it's not worth it to me to watch 40 hours of porn movies to maybe find a single good scene, even though I know they're out there)... Where was I?

Most porn images I've seen have been ALL ABOUT the woman. Always. It helps get women to pose for you if they know they'll be treated like princesses. Hentai images tend to be a bit more subdued and a bit more... human. Example: I think a picture of 3 naked women, seen from behind, looking up at a large painting on the wall would be incredibly sexy... but most models would want their faces visible.
