If I remember correctly, there are sorts of apples and grapes he quite fancies... And others he abhors. Sure, open clear sky, at midday is soothing to him, but don't try to talk to him at sunset... It's hit or miss.

I have no clue, though I've a vague memory of hearing about that conflict...
I do know that leprechauns scare him silly though.
