Another leaf from the tree...

I just found out that my maternal grandfather died 5 hours ago... They found a tumor near his pituitary gland a few months ago, which had apparently been there for quite some time (there were symptoms for a while, but I guess he wrote them off as aging and weight) and presumably (I don't know if there's an official diagnosis) that's what killed him.

I haven't seen him much in the last 5 years, totalling maybe one week over the last year and a half, after one of my uncles died, but it's still a shock. I had overheard, this morning, my mother saying that he had just gotten worse...
