Holiday Cheer

I think it's about time we had a holiday thread, what with my hands smelling like pinesol and whatnot. So let's start it off with something to help us get to know each other better:
What do YOU want for Christmas?
And for those of you who celebrate winter solstice or whatever, explain to me how/if you get crap every december.

Well lets see... saying sex just does not sound right for some reason (well as far as Christmas gifts go) so I'll go with an Ipod
And as for Winter Soltice... I know that starting on the shortest day of the year (20th or 21th) they do give gifts, eat cookies, burn bramble berry for good luck and all that good stuff and all that last for about 12 days... then again I usually don't pay TO much attention to what my mothers saying so my details might be mixed up a bit.

Celebrate... Hm. I tend to kind of dip my emotions in a mixture of mourning, lonliness, light jewish holiday, christmas, witchy shit, naturey midwinter-solstice stuff, and good old commercial consumerism.
What do I want...? To be honest, I hadn't thought about it. Probably won't.

Dontcha hate it when you read something too fast and end up doing a mental double take, thinking "Hruhh?!? WTF is penisol and how can I avoid ever finding out what it smells like??"

I'm more of a Saturnalia celebrator.. not that I believe in any of the roman gods, I just enjoy celebrating.
Lesse.. I want a pony and a plastic rocket.. and an octopus with a nice 30 gallon tank and all the support gear.
Ohhh, and a 1/2TB harddrive in external USB container.

In referance to what others (read Pagans) do.... we have a week of presents and alot of drinking of the holiday mead ^_^

To be honest - not a damn clue. I have about three work parties to go to, visiting the in-laws on the day (UK weather permitting), and probably get mince pies lobbed at me for the next three weeks. Plus I have to do cards, wrap presents, put up the decorations... and draw something I spent a chunk of October doing on another forum. I haven't had time to even consider what I'd actually want for christmas - particularly as all I do want I just want to go out and buy; a couple of books and Rammstein's
Rosenrot are on that list but not on my letter to santa.
Christmas is just another happy, bouncy event to remind me how much my life sucks.
