How irksome are we talking here? Is there some sort of limit or is it the most disturbing, stomach churning links you can find?

Someone's been playing Google Seppuku?

This remind me of the old put random japanese names in the browser thing. It is kind of a deverivite on search for my user name either way for running Akane though the picture search I always suspected these:
Akane from Ranma 1/2
Akane from Maho Tsukai Tai
Akane from One
Akane from Tokimeki Memorial 2
Akane from Dr. Slump
Akane = Dragonfly pics
Akane = Food pics
Akane = Akane Soma
But I still stumped as to who the new Akane is.
(Red head with white head band)

Orcourse I actually do real searches in japanese, although it's a pain to get it to copy the text in and work some time, even when it was Excite Japan and not Google. Though I've yet to see a real "Google Seppuku" image but maybe that's cause I know what I was searching.

Aww, it wasn't that bad.

Of course, I understand some medicalese; without it perhaps it would have been worse. But once you understand what's going on...

I wanted to say "Eh, I've seen worse", but I don't know if that's strictly true. I mean, I can't think of something worse to post in order to escalate this internet horrors arms race. But on the other hand, the only one of those pictures that actually slightly bothered me was the one with the bees; the poor things are going to die after stinging that unidentifiable sexual organ. People cutting their penises in half or burning off the tips of their ears doesn't bother me as much as having insects kill themselves, it seems. Although now that I think of it, they might actually be yellowjackets, in which case the picture drops from being snuff porn down to, hmm... Well, yellowjackets bite, so I guess it would be vore? Not my thing, but it appears the devouree is consenting, so I don't have any problem with it.

Honestly, I think it has almost gotten to the point that a picture without sympathetic context can't turn my stomach much. (This is, of course, a challenge to all of you out there: Prove me wrong with the worst your internets can provide you!)

Actually, disgusting pictures of this sort don't seem to cause me to wish the internet was never invented nearly as much as certain other types of internet horrors. Hell, that KFC link that was posted disturbed me more than either of the bloody disfigurement links. Something about that style of drawing used in depicting sexual acts still bothers me.

Actually I think you'll find they are wasps and they are very aggressive and can sting multiple times with a more potent sting than a bee:-

After the last few links mine doesn't seem quite so bad. It's still pretty damn gross though. I strongely advise against visiting it if you've just eaten or are planning on eating at any point during the next couple of days.

I was fine with this thread right up until the bit with the recycled vomit. I can look at dissections and poo til the cows come home, but vomit just sets me the hell off for some reason. I guess a man's gotta know his limits.

By the way, before the pudding started flying the girls on that japanese page were pretty cute.
