Say Hello To My Chibi Friend

Post by Ghastly »

Today's Tim Hortons sketch.

Ugh... this one makes me feel pain. Very bad drawing. Much much much is wrong with it. I have dishonoured the paper with my sketching. Only the fire can cleanse it now.

Still, it made me chuckle so I shall post it anyways.

its not bad at all, it just looks like she's aiming at her feet.

Almost as If she's got the panzerfaust and just entered a room filled with allies.

mruahahaha! its a great concept, but I can see what you mean about not being a "good" sketch. Don't get me wrong, its like a zillion times better than I could do, but its not the same quality you've been producing lately.

Anyone else reminded of the movie Tankgirl?

Maybe she is trying to rocket jump.

I originally drew the picture with her aiming at a cute little bunny rabbit.

Unfortunately I started drawing her too close to the bottom of the page so the bunny didn't look right in the perspective. So rather than moving most of the bunny off the page I just got rid of the bunny all together.

I think it's a play on the line:-
Say hello to my little friend
From the movie Scarface. And it's the girl talking about the rocket launcher.

I'm sure you mean panzerschreck. the panzerfaust is the one shot rpg.

Aside from the rifling on a rocket launcer (I know you make up the gun designs on the fly. I really liked Hammer's long barrelled machine gun btw). Very nicely done Ghastly.

It could be something like a Karl Gustuav or recoilless rifle. All of those were big rifled tubes

I was basically thinking of the rifling on the 105mm howitzers I used to use to blow the shit out of stuff back when I was in the artillery. I was kind of thinking along the lines of a hand-held howitzer. Jazzed up, of course.

Yeah, I rather liked Hammer's long barrelled GPMG myself.

Big man needs a big gun.

No handheld howitzer is complete without a big-ass bayonet.

Cool. I've got a friend who used to do the same in the Royal Norfolk Artillery.
