Frankly, if i;d had access to pron earlier then certain sections of my childhood, which were similar to flame's would have a hell of a lot easier to deal with.not understanding made htings much worse.
Oddly enough, I think I drew my first dirty picture before seeing my first dirty picture. I'm guessing I was 5 to 7 and I drew a machine for removing the clothing from girls. Okay, so I drew the girl with a penis; how the heck was I supposed to know how different girls were, I was only six! My brother had to tell me that about the whole "girls having different equipment downstairs" thing. That is, he told me this after ratting me out to Mom, and after the spanking. (It's good to have an editor, but you have to be able to trust them!)
Later I found a local market with their adult section just up the aisle from the comic books, so I could hide the smut in the comics. This was in the early 70's so I never saw a pube or genitalia, but lots and lots of boobage. I also read chapters from the digests, like Penthouse Forum, where I learned that my penis was about one quarter the standard size ... I mean one third ... half ... about 90% of the standard size. (90 to 95% ... yeah, that's what I meant.) That messed with my mind more than a bit, let me tell you. And in the back of all these magazines were the ads to send away for the really dirty stuff: leather and bondage and tales of humiliation. So for a while I figured that was what the real deal was supposed to be all about.
Did it warp me much? Hard to tell, but I did just finish a drawing of Velma from Scooby-Doo kissing a female tentacle monster.
