i can get rifles, pistols, revolvers, shotguns
the C&R FFL only costs $30, if you are interested squidflakes, a website that has a lot more info is http://www.cruffler.com/becomingcruffler.html, also you MUST send a copy of the application to the chief law enforcement officer in your town or city, but he/she can't say yes or no on if you get it or not

Ohhh! I'm on it. If there is one thing that I love about living it Texas, it's the absolute REQUIREMENT that you own at least one firearm, and you are encouraged to hoard them ;)
another good thing about the Dragunov, is that it takes the same ammo my M44 does (7.62X54R)

I'm with you on the Dragunov. What a wonderful weapon that thing is.

yes, and southernohiogun.com has scoped Dragunovs for $630 + shipping in their flyer, trouble is, they have to have a copy of your FFL on file for them to send you their monthly flyer

for what ? the 7.62x54R ?
i suppose it's that the actual bullet is 7.62mm wide and the total length of the round is 54 mm & the r means that it's a rimmed round

Caliber is the measure of the diameter of the bore of a small arm, and is expressed in the hundredths of an inch decimally (i.e. 45 caliber is 45 hundreths of an inch, or nearly half an inch across)

Cool

Thanks squid, I always though that the calibre was like most other crazy imperial measurements and based on some wacky thing like the width of a pubic hair at a full moon.

Sigh. Our entire fucking collection, in the 400 lb gun safe got stolen last year. Because our landlord wouldn't let us drill holes to bolt the safe to the wall. Though these thieves might've very well have taken part of the wall if we'd done that...

I'll be so glad when we get out of Oakland (one more week, then we're outta this hellhole).

The living fuck? Are thieves renting fork lifts these days?
You must have had one hell of a collection to prompt the theft of the entire safe.
