Yeah, some of those old Pulp Sci-Fi comics and magazines had quite a lot of implied Tentacoo Wape in them.

I think I have an old 1930's Sci-Fi hard cover novel here. "Women Warriors of Mars" or something like that. It's illustrated and there was some sort of Tentacoo Wape scene in it. Of course the damned guy with the laser gun always gets there before it gets any good. Damnit!

Yeah, all the rocket ships from the Golden Age of Pulp Sci-Fi tend to be extremely phallic looking.

The tentacle monsters on that cover don't look all that menacing either. Infact they look like they have the "sad puppydog eyes". I think all they really want is a little love. Damn insensitive brute with his laser gun.
