Has anyone thought of raping Pope' with the Discworld cake yet?

While I do very much like Discworld and the cake, I'm not sure that it would work very well. However, I suppose you are welcome to try (not that I could stop you anyway).

Edit: Discworld spelling error fixed

It's DisCworld.....with a C, as in the shape, not the thing you stick in a computer. Yes I'm being picky, but I'm too big a Pratchett fan not to be.

Holy shit, I spelled something wrong. I do believe that is a first. I am usually anal-retentive about spelling (and yes, I did put this through spell-check [on a side note, has anyone else noticed that Windows Word spell-check recognizes n00b as spelled correctly?]).

It recognized ANY letter number combo done that way. It thinks n70b is spelled right too. It has nothing to do with having some meaning.

Yeah, I just realized that any combination of numbers and letters is marked as correct. And here I thought there was something cool about spell-check. Microsoft is a bunch of n00bs.

Speaking of stupid spell-check tricks, I always thought it was amusing (though understandable) that it recognizes swearwords, but never suggests them. That means someone had to make a list of them, and make a special exception for the handling of those words.

Also, could someone with a recent version of Word look up the synonyms for "bracken", please? (No this is not a pubic hair joke.)

Ah, okay. I ask because the 97 version had "corpse" as a synonym, which doesn't make any sense. Presumably it should have been "copse".

Are the Rape Penguins at all related to the Penguin Mafia?

i don't mind sharing in the slightest. i just have to work to stay ahead with coming up with new things to do with them ~_^

but then, that's pretty much how it started, i was supposed to wait before joining in with a newbie-rape until someone dropped a 'kite, get the penguins' and then i did something hideous with them, and joined in the fun. initially it was because i had toruble with the notion of joining in with a rape uninvited, i think. i'm actually quite happy that they've still got a life of their own in pure fun terms even though i don't really need to use them as a crutch-gimmick anymore.

Sorry to ressurect a dying thread, but I'm bored so reading back through the pages for the hell of it..

Being a pastry chef when I first saw the discworld cake I decided I had to make it.. so this February I will be attempting to create that cake to sell for charity... It's a terrifying prospect but it has to be tried... but then I'm a glutton for punishment
