Try clearing the "Datacard Manager." If that fails, clear 'em all, or look for a "clear all/erase all" button.
All this does is clear the information, I'd have to do that after every use of the computer, what I want is to get it to stop storing the damn stuff in the first place. If i use the "clear my tracks on exit" option, i'll lose all my cookies and i'll actually have to remember my login info for every site i visit
My bad; I misunderstood what you were asking... There's not an "off" option, too? Hm.

Is your computer running windows? That's probably why; comptuers can just develop quirks like that, and there's very little chance anyone will be able to figure out why, let alone fix it.

IE7 runs slow as a program; I wasn't talking about ease-of-use or any of its features.
