The RealDoll looks less like an anime character than a life size Bratz doll.

Those Bratz dolls are just creepy. I work at Target, and I stock toys a lot.
The regular Bratz come across as rather slutty, but when you get to theBratz Babyz now we are just getting into wrongness on so many levels.

The Anime Real Doll was made by someone who didn't actually understand the mechanics of Japanese styled character design and just thought "anime = big eyes + big tits". That's why it doesn't look right.

IMO the real dolls have always been beyond repulsive. The bodies are well sculpted I'll give them that, but the faces? What, did they steal mannequin heads from the local department store for that?

If I was gonna pay $5k for a sex toy, I'd like it to not be hideous, thx.

Actually, I saw a documentary on Real Dolls on Sex TV here in Canada. They were originally designed to be department store mannequins but because they were so realistic they detracted attention from the merchandise. The mannequins were returned to the company but they started getting requests from store managers for "specially modified" versions. From there it wasn't long before they started making them as sex dolls.
