Well! After being "offline" for too long (and again reinstalling Win98) I visit to catch up on the comics, and I see that there is now a store! Congrats, Ghastly!
But it will impress all the babes at Osamu and they will throw themselves at your feet... or at least give you hand-jobs during the showing. And that's the Ghastly Guarentee.
Quite a variety of things you made him for, Ghastly...
The pastels look nice on screen, I've yet to buy off of Cafe Press... I assume they're going to use a heat transfer process for the image, so hopefully they have very good printers.
Yeah I have no idea about the cafe press stuff too. I assume they use some form of thermal transfer like I do when I make my own T-shirts at home, but with a professional press and higher quality T-shirts. I've been told the stuff looks good but you should turn your T-shirts inside-out when you wash them and then they'll last longer.
Appearently, though, you're supposed to do that with any T-shirt with printing on it anyways.
They say to make the images 100dpi, but I made the T-shirt sized image at 300dpi so it should look pretty good I think.
My computer sure doesn't enjoy working with images that big I can tell you. It's a good thing I don't do a print comic. My computer would never be able to handle graphics processing on something that's 600dpi.

I have bought *COUGH* my own T-shirts in the past from cafepress. The quality is good for the money. I have had some problems with the colors though...for some reason they printed blue sky as green on one shirt design. The coffee mugs are good too. Just don't use the rough side of the sponge on the outside of the cup!
