Kids have a "per encounter"-ability that lets them warp even the most commonplace name into something horrid so you might aswell get something wierd and exotic in the first place :D

The mother wants to call him "Ozzy"

I like "Oswald Leman Maxillary" pretty well. so I'm going to sneak it onto the birth certificate when she's passed out after the birth.

lol.

good names:
for boys:
Malachai/Mordachai (you can call him Mal, or Kai)
Zbigniew (Zbiggy for short)
Francüois
Kato
Jelani
Khaliq

for girls:
Khalilah
Omalara (you can call her Lara)
Eliana
Naamah
Talia

That's just a few off the head, namean? But, uh, it's a weird mix of like african names, arabic names, sanskrit names, polish names, and hebrew names. Yeah... and Orly is a hebrew women's name, so if you are a cruel parent, you could go with that...

Do you have any worthwhile family names?

Also, foolosophy, I like your new avatar. My reply is "my penis?"

I've heard good things about Baby Names for Dummies. But if I was having a baby, my first instinct would be to look at names from my relatives: grandparents, g-g-parents etc. Also, I would check in the calendar to make sure my kid had a nameday. Namedays are important in these parts.
This webcomic, seen here is hosted on the free web host Comic Genesis which pretty much proves its not popular.

Seriouse names

I preffer Alexander for a boy or Alexandria for a girl .... girls names are much eisier for me to come up with. Cynthia Heather Marie.... If it is a girl do me ne huge favor? DON'T GIVE THE POOR GIRL A BOYS NAME. This comes from personal experiance.

I will agree with my youngest sister Jaydon is a good boys name, I doont agree with my younger sister that Gavin is though.

Or you could just let the poor boy have one of those names and name him Akira. Then noone would be able to figure out why he has a Japanese name.

Actually, on the subject of the feminine version of Alexander, my sister's middle name is Alessandra, and I've always been wildly envious of it. Mine is, after all, Jane :p

I would be wildly eviouse of her middle name as well. I would still go by my middle name, I would go by my middle name if it was Jane too. I dispise my first name with a passion that is almost disturbing.

Don't bother asking what it is but needless to say its a name most often given to boys.

No but it is pretty bad. I think it truely scared me for life during school. If you can guess it I will give you many congratulatory rapings.

My immediate thought is George(though it usually has a feminine form). Alternately Davis.

I'm not going to sit here and spout off crossover names till I guess it though.

Probably.

Dale?

Edit: Michael?

It's Franklin, isn't it?
maybe they spelled it "Franklyn" or something to make it look more feminine. Yup, I'm convinced.

jordan?

I've come to peace with my name, i think. I didn't like it for a while. my little sister has the same middle name as my mom, my little brother has one of his middle names the same as my dad, and I was all alone being named after no one. granted, I named my sister (danica - slavic for morning star) and my brother was named after, in order, my great-uncle, my grandfather and my father.

marie as a middle name is overused, I find. it's my middle name, my best friend, her mom, maggie's, apparently, etc. and about four other people I've met through school and the like. I still insist that I'm named after the girlfriend in back to the future (one of my mom's favourite movies).

Riddick? Neo?

I once rearranged the letters in my name to spell out Terran Alien Ghost.
